CD cover project

Aca prep how to create a cd cover in photoshop create a new canvas 5 by 5 size with 300 dpi and use the artboard and use RGB 8bit color. Next, import a picture as your subject into the canvas by going into files>place embedded. Next, bring in a background image to the canvas to create a double-exposed effect. In the layers section select screen as a blending option and adjust to match the subject. Next, we are going to add a gradient to the background by clicking on the gradient tool and filling the canvas with the gradient color of your choice. Next, we are going to add a custom text into our cd cover by clicking on the text tool and changing the font type and size plus use leading kerning and tracking to make the text more representing of the song and the subject in the cd cover. lastly, we are going to save the photo as a png with max dpi with printer-ready CMYK color.
